Learning to dance offers you opportunities no other activity can provide. If you choose to take advantage of these opportunities, your overall health will improves, as well as your social life.

Dancing has so many physical benefits but what most people don’t realize is that dancing also has social benefits, for both adults and children.

For very young learners, coming to dance class is often their first social interaction with others, learning to share and how to make friends.

Older children who meet at dance class have the opportunity to mix with a different circle of friends outside their peers at school. For children difficulty making friends at school, dance class is somewhere they can meet like-minded people with common interests. Dance encourages children to work together as well as solo performance, allowing children to connect and share ideas through movement, creating strong bonds.

For adults, going to dance class is an opportunity to get away from a hectic household and their work-related responsibilities. To have an hour to yourself, ‘me’ time is important, especially if you’re a busy mom and dad.

Dance class can gives you a chance to blow off steam and meet other singles or couples. It’s somewhere you can switch off your brain whilst listening to music and getting fit, releasing endorphins and getting the feel good factor.
